About the art <3
I started this painting, Jungle Jaguar Ayahuasca Portal, at the Start A Painting retreat at Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors in March 2026! It is about my trip to Ecuador when I did ayahuasca at a yoga retreat in 2021 💚 This painting is a “love letter” in the form of a painting to the jungle in Costa Rica as well, and all the things it taught me.
The monstera leaf, jaguar print, and ayahuasca vine pieces surrounding the jaguar eye in a mandala make me feel like I’m a baby jaguar in the jungle being held by my jaguar mother. It makes me feel protected and at peace, knowing that my jaguar mother and nature are looking out for me. It reminds me to trust that God is always looking out for me, too. And it’s a reminder of all the magical lessons I’ve learned in the jungle over the years.
This is my first all-over-print COTTON line of clothing, which makes it fire-safe. I am SO excited about it because cotton is one of the healthiest and highest vibrational fabrics we can wear on our bodies. I wanted to honor this sacred painting by only printing it on cotton. I am so excited for you to wear these pieces!!
